North Grand Groundbreaking Celebration

Join us for free refreshments and giveaways as we all celebrate the groundbreaking for Brickline Greenway: North Connector. Together with the City of St. Louis and many stakeholders, partners and community members, we are bidding the project very soon and will begin construction on this transformative project to reimagine North Grand (and beyond) in May.

Speakers include:

  • Susan Trautman, CEO, Great Rivers Greenway
  • Alderwoman Laura Keys, 11th Ward
  • Constance Siu, Executive Director, North Newstead Association

    Anyone can join a tour of their facility and a sample tiny home directly after the program (not to be missed!)

Celebrate the opening of the newest segment of the Deer Creek Greenway in Brentwood Park with connections to the Marshall Avenue Trailhead, Lorraine Davis Park, and Deer Creek Park.

Enjoy live music with the Red and Black Brass Band, Ramblin Rounds and HomeStyle Grill food trucks, and facepainting! Partner remarks at 11:15am. 1 mile Walk and Roll in Brentwood Park begins at 11:30am. Skates available for rent. Bring your helmet – free helmet fittings with the Brentwood Police Department!

Registration coming soon for optional group bike ride with Trailnet to and from the event from nearby MetroLink stations.

Join us at Harris-Stowe State University to celebrate the Market Street segment of the Brickline Greenway, which begins construction later this summer! This greenway will run between St. Louis CITY SC’s CITYPARK Stadium at 22nd St. and Harris-Stowe State University at Compton Ave. It will also include extensions of Damon Davis’ Pillars of the Valley, a permanent art installation to commemorate the Mill Creek Valley neighborhood.

3:30- 6:30pm: Free food, fun activities, live DJ and student performances!

Great Rivers Greenway holds our monthly board of directors meetings on the second Tuesday of the month. These meetings are open to the public and held in our board room located at 3745 Foundry Way, Suite 253, St. Louis, MO 63110. The meetings begin promptly at 11:30 am and last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the number of agenda items and discussion. Meeting minutes and agendas from previous meetings can be found here.

You are welcome to join us! If you wish to speak during open time at the monthly board meeting, please sign up on the sheet in the back of the room prior to the 11:30am start time. If you will be attending the meeting online via Zoom or calling in, please fill out this form by 5pm the day prior to the meeting.
