Part of Grand Center’s First Fridays, enjoy free music, food, activities and information on construction coming this fall!
Come learn about the newest expansion of the Brickline Greenway along Spring Ave. from Page Ave. to Lindell Blvd., tying together numerous arts, education, and community destinations throughout Grand Center Arts District and the surrounding neighborhoods. This segment will go into construction later this year.
Activities include:
- Contemporary Art Museum – button making
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri – making friendship bracelets
- Montessori Training Center & Montessori Lab School – kids’ craft
- St. Louis Symphony Orchestra – prize wheel game
- St. Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care Centers – giveaway items
- Saint Louis Story Stitchers – 15 minute Peace in the Prairie performance*
- BoCo Boba Tea – free food/drink
- Great Rivers Greenway – greenway preview and yard games
- Cardinal Ritter band – performance from 3:45-4pm*
- Pulitzer Arts Foundation – promotional materials
- Northside Economic Empowerment Center – information
- VA St. Louis Health Care System – information about upcoming improvements
- And more to come…
*Performances from Cardinal Ritter band and Story Stitchers will be inside of the church structure. All other activities will be in garden area on the north side of the church.
