Gateway Mall CAC

The Brickline Greenway Gateway Mall Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is comprised of residents and stakeholders from the communities that neighbor the planned alignment of the Market Street segment from 22nd to the Gateway Arch of the Brickline Greenway. The CAC will meet bimonthly from September 2024 through December 2025 to inform the planning and design of the greenway, ensuring meaningful community participation in the project.

Brickline Greenway Economic Impact Study

An Ernst & Young LLP Economic Impact Study – commissioned by Greater St. Louis, Inc. – shows the Brickline Greenway’s projected economic and social impact:

  • $462 million in economic benefit from trail construction
  • Increased property values by 5 –10% within a quarter mile of the greenway
  • Expanded commercial development along the greenway
  • Reduction in vehicle dependency; increased transportation & road safety
  • $82 million in related retail spending and hundreds of new jobs each year
  • Increased physical activity and reduction in health care costs
