Project Overview
The first phase of the Hodiamont Greenway will be built in Gwen Giles Park located in the West End neighborhood at the intersection of the Hodiamont Tracks and Hodiamont Avenue near North Skinker in the City of St. Louis. This segment will connect to a new on-street cycle track (two-way roadway for bikes, separated from traffic) on Hodiamont Avenue being built by the City of St. Louis. In addition to the paved greenway trail along the old streetcar route, the project will include an expanded paved loop path around the park, as well as a trailhead and other potential amenities, driven by community feedback.
