Project Overview

Working with the City of Olivette, this project will extend the Centennial Greenway 0.85 miles from Olive Blvd to Dielman Road and connect the completed greenway at Indian Meadows to the greenway at Olive and I-170 to Shaw Park. This Centennial Greenway project includes a 0.5 mile segment of former Union Pacific Railroad.

Project Location

This extension will run from Olive Blvd (Between CVS and Chevy’s) to Dielman Road (between 1290 Dielman Road and 9383 Dielman Industrial Court), connecting two existing greenway segments (Indian Meadows and Olive and I-170 to Shaw Park).

Current Status

The project team is working with the City of Olivette and community members to develop the final design for the greenway. Great Rivers Greenway, in partnership with the City of Olivette, has finished removing overgrown weeds and plants along with the railroad tracks along the former railroad corridor between Alice Place and the River des Peres, however, the corridor will remain an active work site through 2026.
