Brickline Greenway North Grand Trash Cleanup

VOLUNTEER NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP

Join Great Rivers Greenway, partners and community members to help clean up this future segment of the Brickline Greenway!

  

Volunteers will remove trash from the sidewalk along North Grand Blvd. This event will involve walking and some bending over to pick up trash. Great for individuals or groups!

 

Date: Saturday, June 1st, 2024

Time: 9:00 am – 11:00 am 

Project Location: N. Grand Blvd. along this future Brickline Greenway route 

– Meeting Station #1 – Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club (2901 N Grand Blvd., 63107)  Parking along Dodier Street

– Meeting Station #2 – St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church (2401 North Grand Ave., 63106)  Parking along N. Market Street

 

No experience necessary: Great Rivers Greenway staff will go over safety and ensure all volunteers feel comfortable and ready.

What to wear: Please dress for sunny June weather and in clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Closed-toe shoes are required. Gloves will be provided.

What to bring: All tools will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own trash grabbers if you have them. Please bring a water bottle to help us reduce plastic waste. Light snacks and water will be provided.
