How We Work
About
The plan for the Brickline Greenway aims to connect Forest Park to the Gateway Arch and provide connections north to Fairground Park and south to Tower Grove Park. It is a major public-private partnership to bring a long-time vision to life. The mission/vision statement explains, “This greenway will transform St. Louis by connecting people and our City’s most treasured places, creating inspiring experiences and equitable opportunities for growth.” More than just a free, accessible trail where people can exercise, commute or explore, the project’s goals include thinking about equitable economic opportunities for everyone to thrive. The greenway aims to create dynamic, active spaces and serve as a regional gathering place that encourages collaboration and boosts civic pride.
Please note, if you saw dashed lines representing “Future Greenways” on the interactive map but don’t see those segments listed here, those projects are part of the overall plan but haven’t yet been studied individually. As soon as there is information to share and an opportunity for community engagement, those projects will have their own pages linked here!
