In February, crews set a new greenway bridge (no cars allowed) over Bayless Avenue. The 600 foot bridge, comprised of seven different segments, were lifted and set in place over a three day period.
The project will extend this paved, accessible greenway an additional two miles from Hoffmeister Avenue to connect the Gravois Greenway: Grant’s Trail to the River Des Peres Greenway at River City Blvd. It will also have two neighborhood connections. When completed, you can walk or ride your bike and connect at Bayless Ave. or Tesson Street. You can also connect where the greenway meets River City Blvd. (Click below for a larger map).
