How We WorkSupport conservation days!
Great Rivers Greenway hosts community conservation events throughout the region to help educate and encourage participation in the conservation projects we work on in the region. Our volunteer Ambassadors help make our conservation events fun, informative, and impactful by providing volunteers with extra support throughout the activity. Volunteer Ambassadors are 18 and over, attend at least 4 events a year, and have one-year terms with the opportunity to renew. This position can be done sitting or standing, lifting is not required. Each event will have details on accessibility.
How To Help
The Great Rivers Greenway Ambassador Program recruits for volunteers once a year. Fill out the Volunteer Interest Form and select “Become an Ambassador” to get notified the next time recruitment starts.
