Revamp the Riverfront with St. Louis Aquarium Foundation

The St. Louis Aquarium Foundation Stream Team invites you to help Revamp the Riverfront- a three-part cleanup series along the Mississippi River, in partnership with Great Rivers Greenway. The goal is to cleanup the Riverfront and prevent plastic pollution from entering the Mighty Mississippi and eventually the oceans. The cleanups will be along Leonor K. Sullivan Blvd. at the “mural mile.” The cleanups are set for April 30, June 8 and September 17. Come for one, two or all three! Gloves, bags and snacks will be provided.
This effort supports the St. Louis Aquarium Foundation’s commitment to water stewardship. They will also be participating in the Missouri River Cities and Towns Initiative. This project tracks the trash picked up along the Mississippi River and collects data can be used to make policy changes to ensure a healthy river for years to come! To participate, feel free to download the Marine Debris Tracker app before arriving. You will receive further instruction on how to use this simple app the day of the cleanup!
