Brickline Greenway: Forest Park to Cortex MetroLink Station

Project Overview

Great Rivers Greenway, in collaboration with BJC Health System, Washington University Medical Center, the City of St. Louis and the Missouri Department of Transportation, is building a segment of the Brickline Greenway that will enable people to connect by foot, bicycle, stroller, and/or wheelchair to employers, health care providers, researchers, colleges, transit and the many institutions that reside in Forest Park.

Project Location

This one-mile segment will link to Forest Park’s popular shared-use path at Clayton Avenue, follow Clayton through the Kingshighway underpass  to Boyle Avenue, then proceed one block north to the Cortex MetroLink Station.

This section of greenway is currently in the design phase and is expected to begin construction in late 2027. View renderings of this project here.
