Meet Deb A.

Posted on Thursday May 22, 2025

Deb A. considers herself a greenway super fan. The main reason is because she has been walking two miles a day on a greenway since 1997! It all started when the first section of Gravois Greenway: Grant’s Trail was created through the efforts of Trailnet between Orlando’s and Tesshire near her Green Park home. Nearly 28 years later, Deb now has more than 135 miles to choose from for her daily walks!

“Walking is such a great way to get exercise, and I love to get out on the greenways. I did a lot of miles on Grant’s Trail over the years, but now that I live in Creve Coeur, I’ve started to explore new ones like the Boschert Greenway in St. Charles, Deer Creek and different sections of the Centennial Greenway. It’s an adventure! I am a greenway fanatic, and I love to share them with my friends. In April, I was happy to find one of the Greenway Quest painted frogs on my first visit to the new Centennial Greenway in Olivette! The greenways are a great community asset. They make it convenient for people to get outside, get fresh air, and explore new places.”
