Margie Oliver is an avid, life-long cyclist who crisscrosses our region on two wheels. Her love for cycling has inspired her to support causes and projects that benefit everyone who wants to walk or ride. She serves as a Board Member and co-chair of the Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Division. She also serves on the Trailnet Board of Directors where she is a frequent volunteer as a “Walk Bike Live Ambassador” advocating for safer streets and connected trail network. Margie is an active member of several cycling clubs, including the Regulators Cycling Club and Black Girls Do Bike.

“I love riding the greenways to get around town. In fact, my first metric century ride (62 miles) took me from the City of Hazelwood to my brother’s house in Arnold, MO, and a large part of it was on the greenways. I am comfortable riding on the streets. However, I appreciate the separation and safety from the cars when riding the greenways. I’m excited to see Great Rivers Greenway coming to North St. Louis County and am eager to work alongside my community and neighbors to bring them to life! The greenways are great to ride, and I meet some of the nicest people when I ride them!”
