Project Overview:
St. Charles County residents and stakeholders said that a greenway linking the existing Dardenne Greenway at St. Charles Community College with the KATY Trail is a high priority project. This was identified through the St. Charles County Greenway Master Plan. Great Rivers Greenway is working with community members, local municipalities and other stakeholders to plan this new greenway.
Project Location:
The overarching goal is to connect the existing Dardenne Greenway at St. Charles Community College and the KATY Trail. The specific route has not been identified but one of the important connections is Veteran’s Memorial Park.

Project Status
Great Rivers Greenway is working with community members and stakeholders to plan this new greenway. The next steps in this planning process are:
- Share the potential routes for this new greenway and the opportunities and constraints for each
- Gather community feedback on each route
- Help the project partners develop a name for this new greenway!
