Join us for a free, fun & educational guided walking tour led by a member of the Great Rivers Greenway staff and our partners at St. Charles County Parks Dept. Come learn about the nature, history and communities along the Centennial Greenway at the St. Charles County Heritage Museum.
In addition to the greenway walking tour, the day’s fun includes a free “Wild About Birds” Program! -Join Park Rangers, Missouri Master Naturalists and other community partners to learn about the different birds that inhabit our parks at this new program. Participants of all ages are welcome and will enjoy free activities, such as nest and feeder making, a bird search, and education about hummingbird migration, feeders, and nest boxes. The St. Charles City-County Library will also have a Pop-up Library at the event so guests can check out books about birds. If you have binoculars, bring them! Field guides and binoculars will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
This walk is free, but pre-registration is required.
