Centennial Greenway Walking Tour with St. Charles County Parks

September 18th 9:00 am - 10:30 am CDT

Join staff from Great Rivers Greenway and St. Charles County Parks for a free, fun, and educational guided walking tour of the Centennial Greenway. Learn about the past history of the area, the current conservation work, and the future greenway plans. We will walk a total distance of 1 mile at a leisurely pace with many stops along the way. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle. The walking tour is free, but registration is required.

  • • Assumption of Risk: As a participant, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, including death, damage or loss that I may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with such program. • Release and Waiver: I hereby release and forever discharge the Great Rivers Greenway District, St. Charles County Parks, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, representatives and employees from any and all liability, claims and demands of whatever kind, either in law or in equity, which are or may hereafter arise pursuant to my participation activities. • Medical Treatment: I hereby release and forever discharge the Great Rivers Greenway District and St. Charles County Parks from any claim which arises or may arise from any first aid, treatment, or service rendered to me in connection with my participation activities. • Insurance: I understand that the Great Rivers Greenway District and St. Charles County Parks do not carry or provide health, medical, disability or auto insurance coverage for my participation. I understand that each participant is expected and encouraged to obtain his or her own medical, health, disability, and auto insurance. • COVID-19: I acknowledge that there are risks, known and unknown, related to COVID-19 involved with my participation in the Event. These risks include exposure to or infection from COVID-19 and health consequences due to such exposure or infection. These risks are unavoidable and I may contract COVID-19, including because of negligence of any person or otherwise. I understand that I cannot be guaranteed that I will not contract COVID-19, including through participation in the Event. I agree and promise to accept and assume all of the risks associated with COVID-19 through my participation in the Event. • Photographic Release: I hereby grant the Great Rivers Greenway District and St. Charles County Parks all rights to photographic and video images made during my participation for internal use or for reasons of publicity. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TERMS CONTAINED IN THIS RELEASE AND VOLUNTARILY SIGN BELOW.
