The Great Rivers Greenway District (District), the Developer, is soliciting sealed bids for Gravois Greenway: Orlando’s to River des Peres Greenway – Phase 3 (2019-003-118A) in St.Louis, Missouri.
Great Rivers Greenway will open bids on the date and time indicated above. All documents necessary to submit a bid are available on the bidexpress.com website including plans, specifications, and bid packages beginning April 2, 2019.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on April 9, 2019 at 2:00pm prevailing Central time at
Great Rivers Greenway offices at 6178 Delmar Blvd.
The Orlando’s to River des Peres Greenway – Phase 3 project is a 750-foot-long section of multi-use trail connecting the previously built Phase 1 project, which ends on the south side of Hoffmeister Avenue, and the Phase 2 project which is currently under construction and begins on the west side of Avenue I. The work includes (but is not limited to): earthwork, clearing and grubbing, grading, asphalt and concrete paving, curb and gutter, storm and sanitary sewer construction, installation of a railroad wheel stop, precast concrete boardwalk and foundations, decorative railings, bollards, retaining walls, temporary fencing, traffic control, SWPPP measures, landscaping, and signage and striping.
The suggested method of submitting bids is electronically. Bids may be submitted electronically until 2:00 pm prevailing Central time, April 23, 2019 via the Bid Express website at bidexpress.com. All electronic bidders must register with Bid Express to obtain digital ID. Bid Express has indicated it could take up to 5 business days to process the digital ID.

Sealed hard copy bids will also be accepted and may be submitted at the offices of The Great Rivers Greenway District, 6178 Delmar Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63112 until 2:00pm prevailing Central time, April 23, 2019, and will be publicly opened and read aloud in the GRG Conference Room on the date and time indicated above.
A 5% Bid Security in the form specified in the bidding documents is required.
Participation Goals for the project are 25% MBE and 5% WBE. The District reserves the right to waive informalities in bids, and to reject any and all bids submitted.
