Living wall projects are designed to be “green” infrastructure projects that enhance the environment while stabilizing a slope. The “green” part of the design gives the structure a unique ability to treat storm water in a vertical prairie, reduce the heat island effects of a hard surface wall and provide green habitat for the birds, insects, worms and other species that help promote a healthy environment in a community.
