1.06 Mile Detour in Downtown St. Louis

To help Mississippi Greenway visitors navigate around the closed flood gate at Carr Street  in downtown St. Louis, we’ve plotted out a 0.5 mile detour. There are signs, banners, and painted jersey barriers to guide you along this route that stretches between the south side of Eads Bridge, a portion of the Arch Grounds and Laclede’s Landing to the Biddle Street Trailhead. Please keep in mind that this detour is off the greenway, follows city streets and is not ADA accessible. We will keep you posted on any updates to this greenway!
