Missouri Greenway
Monarch Chesterfield Levee
This greenway offers three segments which will eventually connect for a 17-mile loop. There is ample parking for this stretch of sunny greenway atop the levee just behind the Taubman Prestige Outlets. Grab a bite or go shopping in addition to exploring the greenway! Across the greenway/levee from the outlets, there is a wetland you can explore with its own natural path trails. You can also park in the northwest section of the St. Louis Premium Outlet parking lot to access the greenway near the connection to the Boone Bridge.

Getting Here
You can get to this greenway by taking I-64 into the Chesterfield Valley.
Each greenway is managed in cooperation with different municipalities and parks departments, who set the rules for greenway use, parking and hours of operation. Greenways often span multiple municipalities, so please be aware that these rules can change as you travel along the trail. Please be sure to follow all posted rules and regulations while you are living life outside!

This greenway is not easily accessible via bike.
The #58 bus stops at Chesterfield Airport Road and Long Road Eastbound. You have just a 10 minute walk to the trailhead at Edison and Long Road. You also can ride the #58 to the last stop at St. Louis Premium Outlet. Access the greenway from the northwest parking lot. You can also continue on #58 Eastbound to Chesterfield Airport/Boones Crossing stop. Exit and walk approx. 18 minutes or bike across Hwy. 40 on Boones Crossing to access the Monarch Levee.
You can not currently access this greenway via Metrolink.
You can park at River’s Edge park which shares a lot with Taubman Prestige Outlets. You can also park in the northwest section of the St. Louis Premium Outlets parking lot and connect with the greenway to cross over the Boone Bridge to the KATY Trail. Parking is also available in the Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex.

You can fish on the lake in River’s Edge Park. You can also access the Missouri River to fish from this park. Check out the City of Chesterfield website for more information.

Trail Info

This is a very flat, sunny trail great for exercising! There are some benches and shade structures along the way for respite.

Connect to the Katy Trail via the walking and biking path on the Boone Bridge.
