Meachum Vendors

Celebrate with us!

Every year, a variety of partners plan and host the Mary Meachum Freedom Crossing Celebration on the Mississippi Greenway.  The theme of the event changes each year and shines a spotlight on important-yet rarely told or not widely known-black history in St. Louis. The 2018 celebration brought to life the story of Unfair Fair: Prejudice on the Pike. The 2019 event on May 4th will celebrate 400 years of Africans in America. Be part of this historic event with a booth for your organization or business!

Set up on site is 8am to 10am on Saturday, May 4th, 2019. If you would like to set up on Friday, let us know. The grounds open to the public at 11am and the event programming begins onstage at 12pm. Everything is wrapped up at 5pm and tear down begins after that. Vehicles cannot access the site until 5:30pm. Once your application and payment is received, you will receive a parking permit and vendor credentials. If you are selling food, please coordinate with the City of St. Louis for requirements.

Questions? Call Angela at 314-865-0708. FYI, we are not accepting any more paparazzi jewelry vendors for this year’s event.
