St. Vincent Greenway Workday: Honeysuckle Removal

April 13th 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a series of volunteer workdays to remove invasive bush honeysuckle from the St. Vincent Greenway in St. Vincent County Park.  We are working with St. Louis County Parks and the St. Louis Audubon Society to restore woodlands along the greenway that have been overgrown by honeysuckle and other invasive non-native plants. No experience is necessary- just the desire to improve and restore habitat along the greenway!

All tools and safety equipment will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle to cut down on project waste. It will be spring in St. Louis, so dress for the weather in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are also a must!

We will notify you of event cancellation in case of inclement weather via email 24 hours prior to the event.

Thanks for your interest in volunteering! If you have questions, please email tschweiss@grgstl.org

All volunteers must pre-register by completing the form below (registration and waiver).
