Mississippi Greenway: Cliff Cave Park Honeysuckle Removal

November 3, 2019 9:00 am - 12:00 pm CST

Join us for a series of volunteer workdays to remove invasive bush honeysuckle from Cliff Cave County Park. We are working with St. Louis County Parks to restore woodlands along the greenway that have been overgrown by honeysuckle and other invasive non-native plants. No experience is necessary- just the desire to improve and restore habitat along the greenway!

All tools and safety equipment will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle to cut down on project waste. It is fall in St. Louis, so dress for the weather, in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are also a must!

We will notify you of event cancellation in case of inclement weather via email 24 hours prior to the event.

Thanks for your interest in volunteering! If you have questions, please email tschweiss@grgstl.org
All volunteers must pre-register by completing the form below (registration and waiver).
