Getting Here

This greenway is located near the intersection of I-44 and Highway 109.

Each greenway is managed in cooperation with different municipalities and parks departments, who set the rules for greenway use, parking and hours of operation. Greenways often span multiple municipalities, so please be aware that these rules can change as you travel along the trail. Please be sure to follow all posted rules and regulations while you are living life outside!

You can access this greenway from bus #410X by walking 1/2 mile south on Highway 109 from the Eureka Park and Ride lot at 4th Street.

You cannot access this greenway via Metrolink.

You can park in Lion’s Park and in spaces along South Central Avenue in Eureka. There are also places you can park in Route 66 State Park.

Trail Info

1.50 Miles

This is a 1.5-mile paved trail that links Lions Park to Route 66 State Park. Also known as the Flat Creek Trail, it passes under Highway 44 and through a specially designed preservation area that aims to preserve the creek banks and natural habitat for wildlife, birds and native plants.
