Let’s team up at the St. Louis Riverfront to clean up our Mighty Mississippi River!

In the Mississippi River Plastic Pollution Initiative 2021 Science Report, nearly 30,000 litter items were logged in St. Louis, with 74% plastic. This has a huge impact on our waterways, community, and region.

After removing nearly 1,400 pounds of trash and recyclables from the river in 2023, Gateway Arch National Park and Gateway Arch Park Foundation are teaming up again with Great Rivers Greenway, Living Lands & Waters, Republic Services, Missouri Stream Team, Missouri River Cities and Towns Initiative, and Beyond Plastics to clean up our riverfront.

Recruit your friends and family members and join us in lending a helping hand and cleaning up the riverfront!

Registration is hosted through our partners at the Gateway Arch Park Foundation. Register Here.

For questions about the event, please reach out to Grace Teofilo, Volunteer Manager at Gateway Arch Park Foundation at grace.teofilo@archpark.org.
