Flood cleanup with Open Space Council

June 3rd 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Recent flooding has impacted local parklands along the Meramec River. Join St. Louis County Parks, the City of Kirkwood and the Open Space Council to remove flood debris and litter from Simpson Lake County Park and Greentree Park. Ages 15 and up welcome. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

The Open Space Council’s motto for post-flood cleanup is to “stay flexible and go with the flow!” Weather patterns, additional flooding, etc. can have an impact on this event. They will email everyone who registers 3 days before the event with the final details.

There is no cost to volunteer, but please pre-register so organizers can plan accordingly.  Click here to register.
