Fee Fee Greenway Workday: Honeysuckle Removal and Trash Pickup
March 30th 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join us for a series of volunteer workdays to remove invasive bush honeysuckle as well as trash and flood debris from the Fee Fee Greenway in Maryland Heights. We are working with the City of Maryland Heights to restore woodlands along the greenway that have been overgrown by honeysuckle and other invasive non-native plants. No experience is necessary- just the desire to improve and restore habitat along the greenway!
All tools and safety equipment will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle to cut down on project waste. It will be spring in St. Louis, so dress for the weather in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are also a must!
We will notify you of event cancellation in case of inclement weather via email 24 hours prior to the event.
Thanks for your interest in volunteering! If you have questions, please email email@example.com.
All volunteers must pre-register by completing the form below (registration and waiver).
