Bike With Your Boots On! Gravois Greenway: Grant’s Trail

October 13th 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

River des Peres Watershed Coalition invites you to “take to the trail” for fall water quality monitoring! Volunteers are needed to test water quality in Gravois Creek, the creek that runs along most of Gravois Greenway: Grant’s Trail

They need your help to bike and stop at creek crossings to monitor the water quality using chemistry kits provided by Missouri Stream Team. They can use the data collected throughout the day to get a snapshot of the health of Gravois Creek.  Meet at  the lower parking lot of Whitecliff Park in Crestwood. No experience necessary to participate and kids are welcome! Please bring your bike, bike helmet, water bottle and a pencil. Be prepared to get your feet wet!

Please RSVP to info@riverdesperes.org and bring your friends and family to this unique monitoring event!
