The Metropolitan Park and Recreation District, doing business as The Great Rivers Greenway District (“GRG”) is seeking the services of qualified professionals for Pre-Construction and Construction Management Services for multiple projects including:
Mississippi Greenway: Old Chain of Rocks Bridge (061)
Regional: Small Construction Projects As-needed (732)
Proposals are welcome from firms competent in pre-construction and construction management or administration services for projects comparable to those completed by GRG in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Interested firms may submit for individual projects, selected listed projects or all projects based on their qualifications. GRG seeks individual firm submissions and not team submittals. While recognizing that multi-disciplined teams may need to be formed for a specific project or to meet MBE/WBE goals, this proposal is to be submitted from a single firm only and not a team submittal. A team can be formed to meet MBE/WBE goals, and should be clearly stated in the proposal, once a selection is made.

Answers to questions received by October 19, 2018 will be distributed to all known recipients of the RFP by Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Please be sure to indicate if your question pertains to a specific project listed or to all projects.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
1.What is the anticipated volume of as needed projects for Great Rivers Green Way in the next 2 years? We are unable to speculate at this time, many of these projects are associated with capital repair due to need and at times, are unanticipated projects.
2. What are the typical time parameters and or restrictions that typically exist for projects that Great Rivers Greenway’s initiates…i.e. typical time frame from start of future project proposal request / submissions and work completions? The type of projects this CM position will be involved in are variable and we are unable to speculate on the timeline. Each project is unique. Some small projects last a few weeks, others may last a few months.
