Join us to celebrate the opening of Trojan Park!

What: free food from area food trucks, basketball activities, and music and dance performances

Great Rivers Greenway is partnering with the National Recreation and Park Association, Beyond Housing and the City of Wellston to transform a vacant lot at the corner of Skinker and Etzel into a vibrant community park. Named after the mascot of the former Wellston High School, Trojan Park aims to create a safe place for families to gather and play.

The park will include a family pavilion, splash plaza, butterfly gardens and play/fitness/creative equipment for all ages. The new park will also feature a full size basketball and volleyball court.

Trojan park is situated within the larger St. Vincent Greenway. Click here to learn more about the current status and future plans for this greenway!
